Morning bread fans.
As we are now well into 2022, I wanted to update on the future of Form, for this year at least.
After a lot of reflection over the Christmas break, I have decided that Form will be taking a break this year. When I started baking last year, it was always intended as a trial, to see if there was a market and also to see how it fitted in with my day job and other responsibilities.
Clearly there is a market, and I have been amazed by the phenomenal support from you all. I can’t believe how much demand and passion there has been for proper authentic artisan bread. So thank you, I really have appreciated your support and custom.
The spanner in the works has been trying to fit the baking into my week. Sourdough bread takes time, a lot of time. It has proved just a little overwhelming to try and fit this in, while doing a day job, looking after 3 dogs and trying to achieve everything else I want to achieve.
I am going to go away and work out ‘what next’ – it is clear that The Height needs more local artisan produce and I want to try and work out how I can contribute to this in the not too distant future. I will be keeping my hands in dough in the meantime.
Thanks again for all your support
