We meet the 3rd Thursday of each month, 7:30 - 9:30pm @ Templemoor Infant & Nursery School, Sale, M33 2EG The W.I.

Bee Moor W.I. runs a range of events, activities and groups for our member women. Somewhere to escape the fast paced multi media life we all lead (for a little bit). To do something fun and a bit different whilst making friends and enjoying a piece of cake. All washed down with a large glass of wine or a cuppa. Our activities reflect the changing issues faced by women today and our group is embedd

ed in our local community. We want to have fun whilst doing a bit of good along the way. About the W.I. -

The W.I. is the largest voluntary women's organisation in the UK. It plays a unique role in enabling women to develop new skills and gives them opportunities to campaign on issues that matter to them and their communities. is a charitable, non profit organisation which welcomes women of all ages and backgrounds. www.thewi.org.uk

March’s meeting was with our wonderful member Debbie, who showed us how to create a beautiful spring mini garden planter.

We got our creative juices flowing as we filled our planters with gorgeous flowers and greenery. Then we finished it off with a lovely ribbon and a few final touches — and WOW! Our spring planter were ready to take home and enjoy. 🌼

It’s was a relaxed, fun evening and a great chance to get together while making something lovely for our home or garden. 🌿

Mays meeting was a fun laughter yoga session — and yes, it’s exactly as uplifting as it sounds!

We welcomed Sunny Turner from Serious Laughter for fun therapy for both mental and physical well-being.

We joined in with some gentle, accessible laughter exercises, along with practical tips to take away to boost happiness and wellbeing in everyday life.

Last night's Bee Moor AGM saw Mandira Hughes elected for a second year as President. Inclusivity and the power of sisterhood are her main objectives and here at Bee Moor, we most definitely display both of these qualities! Mandira is thrilled to be joined this year by Maureen Haddock as vice president, Diana Goodwin as treasurer and Kat as secretary.

This month saw "The Eddie the Eagle of the baking world" (her words). Deborah Cox came and spoke about her 10 attempts to get on the Great British Bake Off. Deborah fed us all with her delicious baking. Her story is one of sheer grit and determination. This resonated with us all in the room. Thank you, Deborah, for inspiring us this evening! 😊
