Pippy's 2nd birthday cake - peanut butter and carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. She was so keen to eat it that she nearly set her whiskers on fire!

This week Pippy started coughing and retching. It was as if she was something was stuck in her throat and she was trying to cough it up. We didn't worry about it unduly as she is moulting quite a bit at the moment and we assumed she'd got a furball stuck. This has happened before when she threw up what appeared to be a small, brown sheep. [ 314 more words ]

Not a very cheerful title, admittedly, but something I've been wondering about. Most Saturdays, I drop my daughter off at her drama class for 2 hours and then take Pippy to a nearby country park, Stadt Moers, where we have a fun romp around. It's a fantastic urban park of 220 acres, running along two sides of the M57 motorway, built on land reclaimed from mining, a brickworks and an old landfill site. [ 489 more words. ]
