It’s that time of year again!!
The challenge is on to spread some festival cake LOVE 🩷 Really it’s just an excuse for us to kick off our shoes, escape the kitchen and spend three days barefoot in the fields with THE best people!

We are beyond excited to announce that we will be heading back to the in the beautiful grounds of Scorrier House.
It’s going to be a weekend filled with a fabulous variety of live music, acts, quality entertainment, creative workshops and exuberant happenings.
You’ll find us inside the Market, where you can expect a hand picked selection of vintage & handmade fashion & accessories, contemporary craft & design, sustainable lifestyle inspiration and retro finds.

A decorated loaf cake scattered with a few seasonal flowers makes THE perfect gift for a low key birthday. Understated, but still delivers something extra spesh for your loves 🌸

Also, I’m totally obsessed with these peachy quince flowers 🍑 Who knew that quinces produced the most dreamy flower.?! I was lucky enough to get my hands on a few which are growing in Padstow.

If you haven’t discovered the walled garden yet make it top of your list of things to do. It’s a total sanctuary. You can sit amongst the flowers, whilst enjoying seasonal dishes and delicious wine with a view of Padstow. Prideaux’s ethos is firmly rooted in sustainability and everything grown in the garden is used on the menu 🌱

1 - blush, peach and pastel lemon, one of my favourite colour palettes, and a sneak peak of a spring wedding cake
2 - wild garlic morning walk
3 - foraged violets, primroses and wild garlic
4- orange, rhubarb and calendula cake
5 - flowers
6 - golden hour light
7 - bluebells in the garden
8- carrot cake scattered with hesperis, thyme, rosemary and borage
9 - geums, quince flowers, calendulas, stocks

Spring Equinox blessings ✨

The sun has shone brightly this week on our little peninsula which couldn’t have been more timely with the spring equinox. It has been like medicine after months of relentless gloom.

I made this cake last week and was so grateful as it took me outside to gather primroses from the hedgerows. This little cake really feels like it encapsulates the joy of spring, an offering to Ostara 🌼
