Tasty Pastry Gluten Free Tasty Pastry Gluten Free is a small business setting up and specialising in wheat, gluten and dairy free products including pasties, pies, tarts and cakes

Pam Withe started making wheat gluten and dairy free products for family and friends about 5 years ago. She already had a commercial kitchen at home set up for making celebration cakes. She has now converted the kitchen to make only gluten free products. All of the recipes / products are of her own invention and use only fresh local ingredients. She has spent the last two - three years perfecting

a gluten free pastry that can be rolled so she can make Cornish pasties which we now have. As well as classic beef and potato, chicken and mushroom, chicken and leek pies we have Alpaca pies, Moroccan spice lamb pies and several varieties of pasties. As well as savoury products Pam also makes cakes (including lemon drizzle, chocolate mud, carrot cakes) and Christmas products such as iced cakes, mince pies and Christmas puddings - all gluten free.

I have been busy for a while making flowers for a four tier wedding cake. I started with the flowers I made White Roses, Cattleya Orchids, Lisianthus and Ivy. Then I made the four tiered cake and arranged the flowers on the cake. Cake tiers as follows: bottom tier Lemon & Elderflower, 2nd tier Chocolate and Raspberry, 3rd tier Fruit Cake and the top tier was Lemon and Elderflower.

Here is my lastest wedding cake. It is a naked three tier cake bottom tier zingy Lemon, second tier Cherry Bakewell, and top tier Carrot. The flowers are Roses, Dahlias, Stocks, Wax flowers, antheridium, Tusci’s leaves, eucalyptus and baby’s breathe.
