Sometimes I feel naughty buying a cake for no reason, I stand there waiting to be caught and told it’s not a special occasion or Friday is cake day so why am I thinking of eating cake on a Tuesday.

Then I remember I am 44, it’s not the 80’s and in fact I can make all sorts of decisions by myself.

I stop questioning where is a responsible adult advising me against such a bold move. Because at some point (and I am still not sure when) I became that responsible adult.

Apparently I can make all sorts of decisions all by myself. Like when I buy cake. Or when I have coffee or even two coffees in one hour.

And so can you. Buy the cake. Come for a walk. Put you first.

We make all our own cakes. We serve really good coffee and we love welcoming you.

Make an adult decision today. Buy the cake. 💪🏻

We commit to baking you brioche buns every Saturday, all winter. There. I said it. It’s a thing, it’s happening. Cinnamon buns are why we started Manor Made…one day I will tell you that story. But for now. This is every week.

Call it a Saturday treat. Call it an excuse to get outside. Call it sugar pick me up. Call it whatever you like. But it’s here. Every Saturday. All winter.

I am a little obsessed with fresh yeast and its magic so we have decided to share it with you so I don’t have eat as much!!

What can you expect? Cinnamon Buns (we make cinnamon knots) every Saturday. No matter what, they are on the menu warm fresh out of the oven from 10am.

And then filled brioche buns; think an apple crumble brioche bun maybe a toffee banana bread crumble as starters. Think autumn flavours, think fresh, think something you eat once but something you will think about all week until your next fix!

I know. It’s a big promise. But honestly brioche is so exciting and so cool to bake and create with. Give it a try. Let us know what you think.

Just another beautiful autumnal day on the beach with Cinnamon Knots.

Fancy making this your weekend? It’s simple. Here’s the recipe.

1. Go down to Crinnis Beach, Carlyon Bay. (Free parking)
2. Walk down the steps, turn left on the beach and head for the blue and white stripy beach cafe 💙🤍💙
3. Pick up a coffee and a bake from Manor Made Beach Cafe.
4. Go for a walk to the waters edge and just stand still, listen to the sea and enjoy the moment. Put your sunglasses on and feel the warm sun on your skin.
OR
5. Grab a fur lined comfy seat at the alfresco cafe, sit, relax. Enjoy the view.
