The Crafty Kitchen is a home based Wedding & Celebration cake company based in the Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales, UK. Our reputation relies upon our excellent standards of service and our customers satisfaction, we will do everything we can to meet your expectations. We work with every customer to create a unique and delicious custom cake which will be the centerpiece of their celebration. We off

er a bespoke service designing & tailoring each cake to the customers requirements. We are confident you will be happy working with us. Sarah has 12 years industry experience and offers both group and private sugarcraft classes. Please note: Our cakes contain: Gluten (flour), Milk, Butter, Eggs and may contain Nuts or Possible traces of nuts (we are not a nut free kitchen). Allergy information will be taken at the point of order. The Crafty Kitchen is registered with the Vale of Glamorgan County Council's Environmental Health Department and holds the top Food Hygiene Rating of 5. Sarah and her partner also hold a Level 2 qualification in food hygiene and safety.

This football themed cake was created for a huge Cardiff City fan and features a football topper, trophy, pitch details and a handmade football player model.
Finished in the classic blue and white colours with plenty of match day inspiration throughout! 🏆

I absolutely loved bringing this design to life — especially all the little personalised details that make celebration cakes so unique.

Such a lovely day in the studio today ✨

I had the pleasure of teaching a wonderful group of ladies how to create Vintage Style Cupcakes — and what a talented bunch they were! It was especially nice to see so many familiar faces, along with a local cake maker joining us too.

I’m always more than happy to welcome fellow business owners who want to learn a new technique or refine their skills — there’s something really special about sharing knowledge and watching confidence grow.

I found this little gem today while sorting through old files, 16 years ago and a bit blurry, but too good not to share!
This was the very first tiered cake I ever made, I was so proud of it back then… Now I look at it and think “oh dear!” 😅

Still, it just goes to show, everyone starts somewhere and with time and practice, you really can come a long way.

*Would actually still like to be that wrinkle free! 😁

Zac picked his favourite characters Pikachu, Gastly and Mewtwo, to star on his cake.
Two were lovingly made from sugar, with the third as a toy… a little surprise just for him!
