The dough was very sticky. I expected it to be firmer. I did use the water with oil on my hands but it was very soft and sticky. I used about 260ml water.

The vetkoek is the easy part. The filling is the bit people get wrong.

Curry mince, done properly, while your dough is still resting. Fry the onion. Brown the mince, add the Curry Mince recipe mix and water (optional: add mixed veggies and / or potatoes).

let it simmer for 15 - twenty five minutes. That is it.
