Well I’m glad it wasn’t quite this hot last weekend 🥵 Thanks to everyone who came to see us at the Spring Festival on Sunday. We had a great day and it was so nice to see so many familiar faces as well as meet new ones. We hope you are having a great bank holiday weekend. Don’t forget to keep your cakes in the fridge!

The moment you’ve been waiting for. Tomorrow’s menu is out! I don’t care if it rains tomorrow or you don’t fancy going out. We have A LOT of bakes that need good homes. So come and get your treats from us at the St Albans Spring Festival. It will be busy so please be patient and we will serve you as soon as we can. It’s always such a fun day. We love seeing so many of our customers and meeting new faces so please do come & support us if you can (don’t worry, we won’t hold it against you if you really can’t make it. We might charge you extra next time though 😜)

Thousands of people are expected to join the St Albans Spring Festival – an exciting street party with free entertainment suitable for all.

The festival, returning for its second year, is on Sunday 17 May and is a celebration of food, well-being, community spirit and sustainability.

Among the attractions will be live music, arts and crafts, fairground rides, face painting, roving street performers and around 100 stalls selling takeaway food, drink and other produce. There will also be opportunities to take part in a wide range of fun activities.

The event runs from noon to 6pm, with St Peter’s Street, Chequer Street and High Street closed to traffic to create a safe environment.

Happy 50th Birthday to my Bestie . I love making cakes for my friends as it means I get to have some too! Not sure anything will beat the tardis cake from back in the early days but I did get to put my photo editing skills to the test 🤣 Thanks to Berkhamsted for a great meal & allowing us to bring a cake!

I sing to everything
I wander off a lot
I’m pretty messy but I clean it up quickly
I wash my hands all the time (already knew this)
