Ok, I caved. Dot cakes have arrived at Heaven is a Cupcake. We have been making cake pots for about 10 years along with school cake so it’s not an entirely new concept but obviously cannot take credit for the name. I’m not a massive fan of trends which is probably why we have 6000 followers and not 60,000 BUT I have to admit these are cute. So here we are! We have this box of “Dot” cakes available to collect today or tomorrow. Freshly made today and looking for a home for a reduced price of £21 as it’s a trial box. Oh and did I mention they come in fully compostable tubs from vegware - added bonus that they’re pretty too.

Megan appreciation post! Where do I start? We are very sad to say that our lovely Megan is moving on to pastures new. She has been at Heaven is a Cupcake for coming up to 5 years. She headed off on maternity leave and welcomed a new member of her family, the lovely Leo. Megan - we knew you would make a fantastic mum and are so happy for you! Megan started baking during lockdown & has absolutely thrived at HiaC. We will miss you Megan, you are a star ⭐️ Thanks for being part of the team. Megan👩🏼‍🍳

If I’ve learnt anything from running a business it’s to focus on what you are doing and what you are building. Of course you can learn from others and it’s important to know who you’re competing with but you can’t let what other businesses are doing consume you. You have to keep going and growing in the way YOU want to. For me, the most important thing is to keep a work life balance and create a brand that I’m proud of. And ultimately, I’ve just got to keep moving and doing new things

Happy Birthday Mumma Cupcake! From day one she has been by my side supporting me through all the good and bad days at Heaven is a Cupcake. I’m trying to let her enjoy her retirement more now and she’s often busy babysitting the grandkids or off travelling (as she should be!) But it doesn’t stop her from helping out when she can and you will always see her at the Food Festival. We love you Margaret Clark ! Have a great Birthday en France 🇫🇷
