CAKE BY ALEX IS CLOSING

Just a reminder, as I've had loads of new enquiries, I am closing the business. My last day of work is 19th July.

I'm getting pretty booked up, but if you'd like a cake before the 19th July, please get in contact and I'll try and fit you in.

There are so many amazing cakemaker's in St Albans and the surrounding areas.

🎂 A Fond Farewell 🧁

After so many incredible years, I've made the difficult decision to close down Cake By Alex. This business, born from my love of baking and bringing joy to people's lives, has been one of the most fulfilling chapters of my life.

From birthday cakes and baby showers to weddings and "just because" treats - thank you for letting me be a part of your special moments. Your support has meant the world to me.

I'll be taking final orders up until 19th July, so if you'd like one last Cake By Alex creation, now's the time 💕🎂

This isn't the end of my love for baking, my family and friends will be relieved to hear.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for every like, share, order and kind word.

There's so many people to shout about who've supported me a long the way and I'll share more about them shortly.

But, as one chapter closes, another begins 🌻
I'm excited to share that I've launched a new decluttering and organising service: Sunflower Sorters! Helping people create calm, functional, and joyful spaces is the next step - and I'd absolutely love your support as I begin this new journey.

💛 O N E H U N D R E D 💛

I was absolutely honoured to make this '100' number cake for the lovely Lilian. Although she is sadly no longer with us, the family all got together to celebrate what would have been her 100th birthday. What a special thing to do for her.

The last photo is Lilian's two son's cutting the cake for her 😊

The '1' was a gluten and dairy-free lemon cake with lemon dairy-free buttercream. One of the '0's' was white chocolate and raspberry with a white chocolate buttercream and the other '0' was delicious chocolate with a vanilla buttercream.

🐣 EASTER BROWNIES 🐣

If it ain't broke, don't fix it! So, I've decided just to offer Easter brownies like last year as you all loved them.

These are perfect to take to friends and family this Easter.

Creme Egg and Mini Egg brownies available to collect on Thursday 28th March.

Small tray - £15 (feeds 4-6 portions)
Large tray - £30 (feeds 12-15)

These brownies come in a foil tray. They can be warmed up for 10 minutes on a low temperature in the oven (depending on how gooey you like them). They can also be frozen to keep for another occasion.

Creative freedom means you'll always get the best from me. I love to be given a few ideas for a cake and get to know a little bit about the recipient, so I can create a cake worthy of the occasion.

Mini loaf cakes (feed 1-2). Chocolate cake with either vanilla buttercream or dark chocolate ganache.
Can be personalised with whatever message you like, as long as it's 6 letters max! Comes in it's own mini cake tin with lid and spoon. Choose your colour from the 3 examples. £6 each.

Bronuts or Brohearts as my son called them 😆.
Boxes of 2 or 4. Chocolate brownie, topped with dark chocolate and sprinkles and freeze dried raspberries.
