Many thanks to all our visitors, garden owners & volunteers who made our Open Gardens event last Sunday possible. The proverb "it takes a village" certainly applies to holding a successful open gardens. A record 900 adults + children attended the event with an amazing £11,408.98 in funds raised for charity. Our well used village hall will receive 50% of these funds with which they plan to purchase a new cooker, more suited to catering for large groups, with an efficient induction hob. They will also use these funds to purchase a new external village clock. £2704.49 will be ring fenced for the Ickleton children’s playground project to reinstate the much-loved zip wire and the excellent charity Tom’s Trust will receive £3,000 (just over 25%) Tom's Trust

We are looking forward to welcoming you to Ickleton Open Gardens today, Sunday 15th June from 11 - 5pm. Tickets & parking from the village hall in Frogge Street, CB10 1SH.

We have 23 gardens open around the village with lunch, Teas & cake and a plant sale (& Plant Creche) in the village hall. Assistance Dogs only please - water available for them at the village hall.

We have 20+ gardens open around the village with lunch, Teas & homemade cake, a plant sale and raffle in the village hall. A plant creche will be available.

Ickleton has so many beautiful gardens and generous owners who are willing to open them for our village Open Gardens on Sunday 15th June, 11 - 5pm. The day is almost upon us and time for one last sneak peek of one of these gardens who'll be opening. Tickets and parking are available from our village hall on the day at CB10 1SH.

Today's contemporary style garden was planted in 2021. Flower beds, lawn, hedging, and oak
portals; Corten steel water feature; informal meadow merging with the adjacent Cam flood plain; and a small field planted with meadow flowers and native trees.

Proceeds from the Open Gardens will go to our well loved & well used village hall for updating facilities and to the excellent charity Tom's Trust

7 days to go until our Ickleton Open Gardens with 20+ varied and beautiful gardens open around the village all in aid of our village hall and Tom's Trust charity. Do come and see us on Sunday, 15th June, 11 - 5 pm.

We also have on offer Ploughmans Lunches, Afternoon Teas, plant stall, bee keeping, raffle, homemade cakes and an iSpy trail for young visitors. Parking and tickets available on the day from the village hall, Frogge Street, CB10 1SH.

For garden lovers one of the added bonuses of an Open Gardens event is the Plant Sale.... as well as 20+ beautiful gardens to visit around the village, we'll have a well stocked plant stall at the village hall on Sunday 15th June, 11 - 5 pm at CB10 1SH.

Today's featured garden is just under an acre and includes flower beds, a wild woodland area, a walled vegetable garden, and several mature trees and lawns. The house itself dates back to the 15th century. Come and see it at Ickleton Open Gardens on Sunday 15th June, 11 - 5pm.
