We'll be back at the Marina Market this Sunday with our homemade bread and Saddleworth Butter.
With the forecast looking promising, we're swapping our usual soup for our much-loved Pulled Pork Sandwiches.
As always, we use locally sourced pork from Dean at The Butcher's Plate, slow-roasted overnight until beautifully tender. It's served on one of our handmade muffins with our homemade stuffing, made with home-grown sage and fresh breadcrumbs, topped with apple sauce and finished with a generous spread of our own Saddleworth Butter.
And if we really do get some proper summer weather, we'll also have homemade BBQ sauce and fresh coleslaw to mix things up a bit!
If you haven't tried one of Saddleworth Cookery's Pulled Pork Sandwiches yet, now's the perfect opportunity to see what all the fuss is about. We'd love to see you there!

Great news - using the generous donation we are receiving, we can offer our full week cookery school for £90/child or £20/day (limited slots available). This will need to be reserved via our website (with a £10 deposit) and the balance paid for on the day (that way we can remove the VAT from the part covered by the donation). The donation is to help support families who would struggle to pay for the classes. We may also be able to offer a few ‘fully funded’ spaces if you know anyone who really would benefit from these sessions but would not be able to make a contribution.

Just had a call from someone trying to find the 2 day classes on our website. I’m trying to work out how to list them under the ‘Kid’s Classes’ tab but,
At the moment, they are only showing in the ‘Speciality Classes’ link or ‘Timetable’ tab - but the are there 🙂

School holidays are fast approaching!
For those wanting classes for next week we just have 2
Spaces available on Monday (cookies and ice cream). The Tuesday/Wednesday class still has availability. This is a completely new session, spending 2 days making croissants, focaccia and sourdough. This will give us time for ‘slow proving’ and shaping of dough. We should also be able to include pain au chocolate and/or Danish pastries.
We will be able to work alongside those who are new to bread baking but it will definitely be a great class for those who want a challenge!
Our other 2 day class is chocolate making (a full 2 days to get to get a professional finish to your chocolates) and, for our ‘budding chefs’ we have a full week Chef School, where you get 5 days for the cost of 4.
