IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
CLOSING FOR REFIT

Binstead Village Stores & Post Office will be closing from Monday 22nd June for 2 weeks. This is for some important electrical works to be carried out and a shop refit. We will reopen on Monday 6th July.

If you have any local collect parcels these will need to be collected by Sunday 21st June. There will be access to collect parcels after this date.

We have very kindly been offered a space at The Binstead Community Centre Social Club and Association in the lodge to have a small pop-up shop whilst we are closed. You will be able to get newspapers, bread, milk and some other daily necessities. We will post more info on this later. There will NOT be any Post Office services at this pop-up shop.

Your nearest post office during these dates will be High Street Post Office, Melishes, or Ryde Post Office, Morrisons Local, both in Ryde.

This morning we emptied our collection box in our shop. We topped it up to get an even £100 and sent it across to Ian and Tanya Rock this morning. Over the last couple of days Ian has walked 100 miles non-stop. Raising money for Huntingdon’s disease. Well done Ian.

Well what a month it’s been!! Binstead you’ve bought over 12,000 2nd class stamps and 5,000 1st class stamps. We’ve sent off over 600 bags full of parcels. You’ve collected over 1,000 click and collect parcels from us.
Plus you’ve bought from us 75 rolls of wrapping paper, 500 Christmas cards, 30 Christmas cakes and a tonne load of mince pies!!
Not to mention all the bottle of alcohol 🥂

First of all a big thank you to our paper delivery team. Lyra, James, John & George. You’re all amazing and a massive asset to us. We know a lot of our customers don’t see you but all your cards and tips this year have shown just how appreciated you are.

Secondly, a massive thank you to the best staff ever…..Tracey, Abi and Lewis. We love each and everyone of you. You are quite simply the best!

And lastly to all our wonderful customers. We obviously wouldn’t be here without you. Thank you for all your custom. And not to mention all the cards and gifts we’ve had this year. Thank you to everyone.

We are all having a couple of days rest. We will re-open on Saturday 27th at 7am.

Last day to get any last minute parcels sent today!
To guarantee to get there tomorrow they must be sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery or DPD Gold service.
Last post is collected at 4:25pm!!

We also still have lots of local collect parcels sat in the office waiting for people to pick them up. We are open until 9pm tonight and you can collect parcels at anytime.
We close at 5pm tomorrow and won’t reopen until Saturday 27th at 7am if any of these local collects are required for Christmas.

We’re nearly there!!!!!

Tomorrow (Friday 19th) is the last recommended posting day for Royal Mail Tracked 48 service. Our last collection is at 4:25pm.
The last days for DPD 2 Day and Royal Mail 1st Class is Saturday 20th. The last collection on Saturday is 11:20am.

Heads up to anyone that sells regularly on Vinted and EBay and has prepaid labels, these are normally Royal Mail Tracked 48 and DPD 2 Day. This will be your last chance to send any sold items to guarantee by Christmas on these services.
