I bake a bit

So this is a hard post to make. I have decided to close the cake side temporarily so that I can concentrate on the craft side of the business. Ingredient and energy prices are going up and I have tried to absorb them as
I could but it is becoming more difficult and as a small bespoke caker I just can’t compete price wise.

As some of you may know I have booked a few stall dates coming up at Ruthin Market Hall so I am busy making designs, stock and all the other bits that go with having a stall.

Am really sorry. But keep an eye on the page as things have a tendency to change.

Thank you for all the support and love you have shown me over the years and I hope to see you in the craft page The Pink House Crafts and perhaps at the market.

Scam alert

I always get asked why I don’t promote my business online more and why I don’t sell more via FB. This is the reason……….

This afternoon I got messaged by someone wanting to buy a set of the skate coasters, agreed with the design, price etc then they claimed to have sent me the money via PayPal. I get an email from a paypal@gmail account which is
obviously fake claiming my account is on hold as I had received a business payment. And I had to do refund money etc to the customer. I asked them for their email address to confirm the order 3 times and now they have blocked me as they realised I am not that gullible! But anyway this is the person and their account to look out for.

This weeks Christmas special cake for the Red Lion Hotel Cyffylliog is The Chocolate Orange! Chocolate Orange sponge cake, filled and topped with rich Belgian chocolate buttercream and Blood Orange Curd. Mouthwatering, tangy, not too sweet and delicious!
