Happy Birthday to Mark who turned 51 recently, and happens to be a Liverpool fan!

Tucked inside are layers of classic vanilla sponge with buttercream and raspberry conserve, finished in a layer of white chocolate ganache and sugarpaste. Decorated with handmade football decorations and printed toppers, all presented on an iced board with ribbon and happy birthday message.

I had a play with adding a background to this one too, which turned out pretty cool!

VINTAGE , WITH CHERRIES 🍒

A special request for a family birthday...... Vintage lambeth definitely has my heart.

Tucked inside here is a strawberry sponge, filled with buttercream and strawberry conserve, all hand decorated in vintage piped designs in baby pink and red, and finished off with a cake charm and maraschino cherries. Happy 30th Hannah!

A big congratulations to the happy couple, married yesterday at the beautiful wedding venue. Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness together.

I had the pleasure of bringing their request to life - the wedding cake is always such a centre piece, a focal point, and what a setting for it at the bottom of that beautiful winding staircase.

The couple chose three tiers - Classic Vanilla with a raspberry conserve, Chocolate with a white chocolate ganache and Carrot Sponge, all filled with buttercream. Presented with a rustic finish, and decorated with the prettiest florals in white with a touch of dusky blue.

Acrylic Cake Topper was provided by the couple.

June celebrated her 80th birthday at the weekend and the request for her cake was the Beatles..... Black and white with a pop of gold!

I chose the iconic Abbey Road album as the inspiration for this one....

Tucked inside were layers of classic vanilla sponge, raspberry conserve and buttercream, finished with white chocolate ganache and sugarpaste.

Handmade decorations / silhouettes completed the design, all presented on an iced board with ribbon.

Every year theme theme is the same, the footballer isn't...... And this year no sponge cake! A first here at Em's Cake Escape (although definitely not the first cheesecake in this house!)

Dom fancied something a little bit different this year and this simple homemade vanilla cheesecake hit the spot I am told!

What a milestone!

Layers of classic vanilla sponge tucked inside this one, with buttercream and morello cherry conserve, covered in white chocolate ganache and sugarpaste.

Decorated with handmade models and decorations, and finished off with edible prints. All presented on an iced board with ribbon.
