Back in April 2011 I went with 2 friends on a cupcake decorating class. On the way home I said I fancy doing that as a job!!
Dec 2011 I took redundancy from my old job and made Jjs cakes my full time job.
Nearly 2 years ago a opportunity Came my way that I couldn’t not try, and what a 2 years its been. Penny my business partner at Salters of Rugby Ltd has made the last 2 years a massive learning curve and we are growing bigger as a business every day.
But today I delivered my last 4tier Wedding Cake. Ordered before I changed jobs.
I’m surprised how touched I was to think this was my last Wedding Cake.

Jj's cakes is full now till the summer. I will be closing my diary to any NEW orders from today. I will be stopping doing cakes from September after all the orders I have are done. Apart from 1 wedding cake in 2018.
Thank you to everyone who has had a Cakes. Be it for your Wedding or Birthday I've enjoyed making them all.

I hope you have all had a wonderful Christmas.
Thank you to all my amazing customers over 2016. At the start of this year I never thought I would be changing my job.
I'm now half owner of Salters of Rugby Ltd.
Along side running Salters I'm happy to carry on taking the odd cake order.
I have lots of wedding cakes booked in and a few birthday cakes.
I'm fully booked for January, April, May, July and August.
If you would like a cake please let me know ASAP.

Due to starting a new job being a Partner at Salters of Rugby Ltd I'm taking a few weeks break from cakes as of tomorrow.
I'm happy to take the odd cake on and all orders in my diary will be baked.
