Ezme was 21 last week's & once again Helen asked me to make her birthday cake, a rosewater flavoured sponge with rosewater buttercream & strawberry conserve. Ez has a passion for the musical shows, so a musical theatre theme was the choice this year.

Our Story

Deena & Donna became Double d’s as a result of fund raising for charity, we started by baking day & night to attend car boots and selling our cakes by the slice, little did we realise how well they would be received, people kept coming back and requesting Deena’s Victoria sponge and OMG! those melting moments! Our fund raising totals soared.

Eventually Deena moved on from cake making, turns out she can sing a tune and you’ll quite often find her singing with a choir or 2 in Rugby, me, well I thought “I’m sure I can cover a cake” A friend bought me a book on cake decorating and well, here I am.

I still bake all of the cakes below for anyone who loves a great home baked traditional cake, and heavens knows they taste amazing! but now I’m receiving and taking commissions for occasion cakes.

I’m insured, council approved with a 5 rating and a level 2 hygiene certificate.
