Not to get all emotional, but you’ve been rather lovely to us lately. 🩷

We’ve been on the receiving end of so much kindness recently. Lovely reviews, thoughtful messages, wonderful comments on our posts and kind words across the bakery counter.

And we thought it was about time we said a proper thank you.

Running a small independent bakery comes with ridiculously early mornings, long days, plenty of flour-covered chaos and the occasional moment of wondering what on earth we’re doing.

But then we read things like these, and it reminds us why we do it.

Knowing that people appreciate not just our bread and pastries, but the little bakery we’ve created and the people who work in it, means an awful lot.

And while we’re handing out thank yous, a massive one to everyone who took the time to vote for us in the local fawards. Whatever the outcome, we’re incredibly grateful for your support.

We’re just a small team doing something we love, and having such a lovely community behind us makes it all the more worthwhile.

Rugby, you’re alright, you know that? 🩷

The ovens will be on, the coffee will be flowing and the shelves will be full of all the good stuff.

Fresh sourdough, autumn pastries, savouries and plenty of things you definitely didn’t come in for but will probably leave with 😂

Chorizo, thyme & cheddar croissant turnovers
Boozy pain au raisin 🥃

Pumpkin, Leicester cheese & sage sourdough.
