I will update here when the kitchen and design centre (my head!) are open again for business.

If you have a special celebration date for after then, I can of course get you booked in for that later in the year.

This is my last cake for a while as I am getting a knee replacement in a weeks time.
I am not sure how my recovery will go, but have been preparing physically for the last year and am also trying to get in the right headspace to be able to cope with the frustration of enforced limited mobility, pain, drug induced brain fog and boredom.

My kindle is fully loaded and dramas loaded onto TV accounts and will follow all physio instructions t get up and about and walking well and eventually without pain.

Thanks to all my customers past, present and future for all your support and apologies for any orders I cannot take over the next few months.

I will let you know when I expect to be back making and baking.

For a surprise 60th birthday gent.
Very big 8 inch, 3 layers of fresh and zesty lemon sponge, filled with more zesty lemon buttercream and lemon curd. Covered with 3 layers of buttercream, ombre coloured cream, eucalyptus and sage to match the party theme. Hand painted with edible gold paint and flecks of edible gold leaf. Topped with some lemon drizzle ready for customers own gold topper.

And this is the 5th birthday cake for youngest Grandson Ralph.

Different themes each year showing how much they can change their ‘obsessions’ in just a few short years.

This year it is all about his football hero Christiano Ronaldo, and Michael Jackson but Ronaldo won!

It’s 3 layers of vanilla sponge, vanilla buttercream filling and outside.

Ronaldo and the balls are all edible too.

A dozen chocolate football cupcakes thrown in for the chocolate lovers.
