It’s sad when we are now classed as “retro” gamers, but it’s good to introduce/force the younger generation to embrace our style of Mario. Yes, know they are more up for Mario kart but there is nothing wrong with a plumber traversing the platform through pipes…. This is 40! Yes, I made my cake. No it isn’t elaborate or polished. But it means something. Years and years of this cake from when I was little up to my 21st. Even when we were on holiday, the cake tins were always packed and the sweets carefully selected. An ode to my childhood birthday, because I still haven’t really grown up.
