Established in 1940, Stanifoths has always been a traditional family owned and run company. All of our Directors are grand children to the founder Mr J F Staniforth Senior. The company was taken over and began expanding by the Staniforths brothers, Mr J F Staniforth Junior and Mr J P G Staniforth. With over 70 years combined experience in catering, our business has grown from one shop in Parkgate,
to now having 17 shops throughout South Yorkshire and we still bake all of our delicious products every day in our own bakery. The friendly faces you see behind our counters have been trained to expertly make our tasty sandwiches fresh in store every day, using our own freshly baked breads. Originally the company were bakers specialising in breads and confectionary. Now we still uphold all of our traditional values but with a modern twist. We have expanded our fine quality produce to include hot and cold snacks, cakes including wedding, celebration, novelty and corporate, through to buffets catering from 15 to over 100 people. The company has built on its reputation for high quality and good value, we use only the finest baking ingredients available. Our home baked goods are so fresh and delicious that customers keep coming back for more. We believe that supporting the local community is very important, that’s why whenever possible, we like to support other local businesses by buying our ingredients from local suppliers and using local trades people. We also like to support local schools and community projects in fundraising and charity events, along with nationwide fundraising such as Comic Relief, Children in Need and Cancer Research.
