Important Announcement 🧁

After a lot of deliberation over the last few months I have sadly decided that I’m hanging up my apron… sort of!

It’s a fairly unique thing to walk away from something that from the outside probably appears to be going really well but simply put - I am knackered!

As many of you will be aware, my cake business is not my only job and I work part time in another job which is also a fairly demanding role. Being employed and self-employed at the same time has always been a juggle but over the last 2 years it’s become absolutely consuming. I’ve found that through the week I’m doing my job in the day and then coming home and starting my cake work the second I walk through the door until 2 or 3am and then getting back up for work again at 6.45am. I’m also caking all weekend. I’ve had less and less time for my family and I feel that I have already missed such a key part of my daughter’s childhood and I don’t want to miss any more. Aside from this, the long hours have really taken their toll on my health and after a recent bout of health scares I have realised that I really do need to slow down and get a sense of work/life balance back so I’ll be going back to my part time job on a full time basis and taking my newly free evenings and weekends for me and my family.

It's not completely goodbye! If you have an existing order in for 2026 – it WILL be fulfilled, contracts are still in place and nothing will change for you guys. I am keeping myself registered as a legal food business and will continue to keep myself insured. I will also continue to do events (Valentines, Mother’s Day etc) and markets. Other than this, I may take on the odd thing once I’ve a breather so please feel free to ask, but at this time I’m taking nothing else on whilst I navigate my way through this next step.

I hope you’ll support my decision because I do feel it’s the right one for me. I’ll always be eternally grateful that I got to do what was my dream once upon a time and it’s all because of the support I got from so many of you who returned to me again and again, recommended me to others and always showed me such high praise for the bakes I made you so a huge thank you to you all ❤ ❤ ❤

I’ve just realised I forgot to put my automated message on as I’m currently closed for Christmas! Apologies to all who have messaged and thought I was ignoring. I will be back in a couple of days to provide quotes and get you booked in but for now I’m enjoying a much needed recharge 🥰 🧁

Polite reminder - I have some people who still havent paid for their teacher gifts that were collected earlier this week. Please ensure that you settle the payments.

Additionally, if you haven't paid for your Xmas eve cookies please can you make sure you do so before you collect as I don't want to chasing payments all Christmas.

Hello.. I realise I’ve been very quiet on the socials lately but I’m still here, just insanely busy.

Xmas collections will be tomorrow (22nd) and Tuesday (23rd). Please come between 9 and 6 and no later and it would be very helpful if you could let me know a time ahead of time so I can prioritise accordingly. All Xmas eve box cookies will be baked tonight so they’ll be done and have a shelf life of a good month. The cupcakes need to be made as fresh as possible to the time you’re collecting so please let me know if you’ve ordered these 🧁🧁

I’m still at the Bramley Christmas Market and a LOT has gone but I still have some bits left which I am happy to put aside for collection from my usual home address later or to deliver to anyone who would like them. I’m selling at a slightly reduced rate compared to my stall prices for a quick sale 🥰

Vanilla cookie stars - bag of 10 mini stars £1.50 - these are the same vanilla sugar cookies that I use for my usual cookie orders and Xmas eve cookies but these are drizzled in chocolate too

I am all ready and set up for today’s Christmas Market Bramley at the Bill Chafer Centre on Flash Lane. The sun is shining (yay!) and there’s lots of great stalls here including my favourite Nah That’s Reyt Good. Jams, Marmalades and Pickles so please come down and support some lovely local businesses 🩷🩷

I’ve included a pic of some of what I’ve got on my stall (I made more things after I’d done that price list so it’s a bit out of date!) today to temp you down but if you can’t make it and would like something later please watch this space and I’ll advertise any spares later this afternoon. We do expect this to be a busy one though so the only way to get something you want is to get here early 🥰🎄🎄🎄

Just a little set for the teachers this year, a cookie and cupcake set.

£4.50 each and can be personalised with any wording but will have to be kept short due to the space I have to work with.

I can also do just the square cookie on its own for £3. This will come in a card-backed cellophane packet so it looks more gifty. 🎁

It is difficult to set a date for collection as they all are needed at different times I know, so please enquire with a preferred collection date and I will see what I can do.

As always these are not suitable for allergen sufferers and payment is required to secure a slot. These will be extremely limited as I’ve a full December diary! 🩷🎂

Available to pre-order for collection on 22nd and 23rd December. These will be the only collection days and we can arrange a suitable time when ordering.

Traditional Nutcracker Bear - large- £5
Pastille Nutcracker Bear - large - £5
Polar Bear - large - £5
Baby Polar Bear - Small (non personalised) - £3.50

These four designs are packaged in a clear cellophane bag. Design changes may be necessary depending on length of name on the personalised ones and I’ll consult you on this.

No design change requests please. The cookies are the popular vanilla sugar cookie. They’re unsuitable for allergen sufferers and will contain egg, wheat and milk at the very least. Payment must be made on booking and only once payment is received will you be added to my list. 🎄🩷🎅🏻🧑🏻‍🎄
