POV: you’re still posting summer wedding cakes in October because you’re THAT behind on content 😂🙋🏼‍♀️

But honestly, when a cake looks this good, how could I not share it?! 🤎🎀

This beauty came with me to the Car Bank Open House yesterday and I’m still a little bit obsessed with her.

The vintage piping, the bows, all those little details 😍

Now, back to catching up on approximately a million other weddings I’ve not posted yet… 😂

I’m a wedding cake maker, of course I’m also the cleaner, accountant, delivery driver, graphic designer, social media manager, IT department and chief overthinker 😂

Basically, a one-woman circus with a piping bag 🎪🎂

Wouldn’t have it any other way though 🤍

, but make it DARK 🖤

Because why should desserts have to be all pretty and pastel? 😏

Dark, moody, chocolatey goodness… and a dessert table that looks just as good as it tastes.

I’m VERY here for this vibe. 🖤

Would you go dark for your wedding desserts?

Well, look who’s made an appearance 👀😂💗

A cake reel AND a rare sighting of the person who actually makes them!

Had to jump on this trend eventually 💁🏼‍♀️🎂 hope you enjoy my questionable camera skills!!!

And a little cake for the grid and let’s start making it fall themed 🍂

Then for the caption:

A little behind the scenes for you… because apparently you want to see what goes on behind the pretty cake photos 😂

The problem is, decorating a wedding cake takes HOURS.

And this is the sped up version. 😂

There’s a lot of little details, a lot of standing in one position for far too long, and a lot of “just one more thing…” before I’m finally happy with it.

But honestly, this is my favourite part. 🤍

Small business owners, tell me I’m not the only one whose “quick little job” somehow takes the entire day? 😂

For the people in the back……… DESSERT TABLES CAN BE BEAUTIFUL TOO.

Yes I said it, with the right styling and care they can look (and taste) incredible. The bride had a vision for her dessert table and wanted it to be part of the wedding styling. Including the same signage used throughout the day, beautiful florals and all set upon white dessert trays. I loved the different heights and shapes, from the tiered stands to the rectangular trays, in all came together as a feast for the eyes. It’s lovely to work with couples who have a vision for their day and who trust me completely to create it.

Would you consider a beautifully styled dessert table as part of your day???

Me? Posting another Lambeth cake?

Groundbreaking. 😂

But honestly, I don’t care if you’ve seen enough because I will never tire of making these. The piping, the ruffles, the bows… I’m obsessed 💙

Another Lambeth cake? Absolutely.
Have you seen enough? Probably.
Am I going to stop making them? Absolutely not. 😂💙

I just love them okay?!

FYI - Yes I did use AI to remove a lamp in the background of this image, but everything else…. All me 😂😂😂

Money can’t buy you happiness…

But it can buy you this cake and honestly, that’s pretty close. 😂🎂

How much would you spend the on your wedding cake? 👀
