Did you know that here at Lenny’s, we bake our cakes in house, from scratch. We have two amazing bakers - Kevin who has been here for a lifetime and Darcie, our apprentice. We also have others who can bake, including James, one of our kitchen staff and Naomi one of our owners. It’s a team effort and operation back of house.

We use local ingredients and sometimes we design things that work, other times they don’t. It’s all fun! Every now and then we stumble across a golden receipe that you all love. We also make things big - want a supersize of something for a special occasion? Let us know!

So, when you have an afternoon tea everything we bake for that, is made in our own kitchen, with the exception of the cannoli, as we know that the Italians do them better and that’s ok with us! You can book afternoon teas with us online, available in a Lennys of Rochester or Lennys of Eastgate

Let’s be honest, there is a lot of love for our . So, we were very excited to have another request to make a super size version for a customers birthday. Approx 20 times the size (weight) of our standard tart. Our apprentice baker, Darcie whipped these up and doesn’t it look amazing (don’t think you should eat it in one sitting though!) 😂. Anyhow, we made an extra one - and it’s available in store to buy today

The ice cream bar is in full swing! Don’t forget you can add a portion of ice cream with your cake, eating in or taking away. We’ve also got cones and tubs, sauces and sides. Perfect cool down for this weather!

We have it! Based in Rochester, just off of the high street, our sister shop Lennys of Eastgate is a world away from the bustle. With inside and outside space and fully accessible, we’ve got your tranquil space. We bespoke each event, especially for you!

Open Monday, Wednesday to Saturday 9:30am - 4:00pm to also walk in and enjoy our gorgeous space!
