Hey guys!
I will be on messages as soon as I can but whilst I’m here I want to explain my absence.

I am battling a lot BTS and running two self employed roles that require 100% of me is HARD. I’m having to now choose which direction to go.

Whilst I don’t want to give up cake entirely, I do need to limit what I take on. My head says, put the apron down and focus on print ( - if you don’t know 😉) but my heart will always want to continue here.

It’s so tricky as the nature of print, I don’t know when I’m going to be busy and likewise here. So suddenly I could have cakes booked and be to the wire with print.. and suddenly I’m overbooked burnt out and have nothing left. I’m a mum of three - with ASD myself and my son also, meaning time and energy cannot be wasted and often I’m battling the exhaustion of all that entails.

Please bare with me whilst I navigate the best way forward. If you have orders booked don’t worry! These will be fulfilled.

I hate doing anything halfway. I have booked my food inspection for next week so that it forces me to continue in case I’m just in a mental slump with cake 😆 in hopes this will pass.

Anyway, ramble over.

I’m lucky that I’m mostly always fully booked and have another business which floats my little family BUT I don’t know how you guys who rely on this as a sole income do it?

You CAN do it; If you price right AND work all the hours, but it’s so unsustainable. And ‘baking tired’ is NEXT level tired 🥱

If you’ve found the balance let me know in the comments because i certainly haven’t.
