My daughters birthday cake! I don’t often follow trends for the sake of it, timeless design will always have my heart over creating something simply because it’s having a moment.

But for D’Arcy’s birthday, I made an exception.

A little nod to the slab cake trend, reimagined in my own way, rich chocolate, soft pink roses, and an elegant finish worthy of the occasion.

Nineteen birthday cakes later, I think it’s safe to say this has become somewhat of a tradition.

Creating celebration cakes for my own children will always be something I treasure, even if watching them grow up far too quickly is the part I’ll never quite get used to.

Created for the open day, and without doubt one of my favourites.

A fresh, all-white design with soft ribbon detailing, subtle polka dots and the most beautiful flowers by . Classic in style, yet with a modern, editorial feel — the kind of design that will always feel timeless.

Understated, elegant and beautifully finished.

I do still have a small number of spaces remaining for autumn weddings, which is always one of my favourite seasons to design for.

Y&I’s wedding cake — an all-white design, but far from simple.

L&S’s beautifully elegant wedding at where every detail was thoughtfully considered and the cake was designed to complement that same sense of refinement.

A classic three-tier design in the softest ivories and whites, finished with delicate stencilling and adorned with sugar flowers, their soft sage green foliage adding a gentle, natural contrast. Considered, timeless, and quietly refined, perfectly in keeping with such a stunning setting.

G&B’s beautifully stylish wedding, with every detail thought through — and the cake needed to match that level of intention.
All white, but full of depth, with sculpted texture and rose petals rising through the tiers so the florals felt part of the cake, not simply placed on top.

A beautiful design from last summer, created alongside a seriously talented team of suppliers. The colour scheme was everything — I wanted to introduce colour, but keep it refined. Bold pops of green and gold, softened with delicate pink and cream sugar flowers for that romantic touch.

And I loved creating a slightly larger design for this one made to take centre stage.

Hi, I’m Hayley

It’s been a little while since I last showed my face on here… months, actually. Eek.

I’ve worked in the wedding cake industry for 17 years, and behind the scenes I’ve been doing what I’ve always done: creating, designing, baking, delivering and giving my couples a calm, considered experience from the first message to the final set-up.

I’ve just taken a different approach to how I show up online. With so much noise, it can get all-consuming, and stepping back was intentional.

I wanted to come back to why I do this in the first place: weddings rooted in love, commitment, and memories — not pressure, not performance, and not doing it all for show.

If I’m honest, I fell a little out of love with weddings for a while — not the meaning of them, but the direction they were heading online.
Taking a step back helped me reconnect with what matters, protect my time and headspace, and be far more intentional about who I work with.

So if you’re a couple who wants your wedding to feel like you — thoughtful, personal, and full of heart — I’d love to hear from you.

I’m here, quietly creating… just with more boundaries (and a lot more intention) than before.
