Happy Friday! 🎉 It’s bake box time, and this week it’s the second week of your requests as I couldn’t fit them all in last week!

I’ve also popped a couple of newbies in there too - a vegan choc hazelnut (Nutella style) cookie sandwich and a Triple Choc cake pot ( choc fudge cake, white choc buttercream, choc sauce and chocolate buttons!) so I hope you enjoy! 😊

📚✏️Back to School Bakes!
As promised, this weekend I’ll have some back to school bits and pieces available in the bake box and for collection (by pre ordering) on Sat 15 and Sun 16 Aug.

Whether you’re celebrating going back next week or surviving the first couple of days back there’s an option for you, and if you preorder you can even customise your items a little! ✏️📚

Items are limited. Pre-orders close at midnight on Friday or sell out, whichever is first.

Here’s your round up of what to expect in August…

🧁 Markets - I’ll be at Uddingston Food Market on Sun 23 Aug - please note if you’re a market regular this is a week earlier than normal, so adjust your calendars!

📚✏️Schools Back!! - on Sat 15/Sun 16 August we’ll have a selection of cakes, bakes and treat boxes available that are perfect for celebrating back to school. Pre-orders will also be available for those who don’t want to miss out! Full details will be out tomorrow!

✨ Bake Box - we are open every weekend in August serving you up a delicious selection of cakes and bakes. On Sat 15/Sun 16 I’ll have back to school options for you too! Keep an eye on the page for menus and details of what’s in the box!

📮 Postal Boxes - Next monthly special will be September!

🗓️ Celebration cakes/custom orders - August availability is limited, diary is open until the end of the year, so if you’re looking for a date, get in touch sooner rather than later! (£20 confirms your date and details can be decided later!)

💌 Emails/messages - As of this evening (12 Aug) everything is up to date and I’ve also checked junk, spam etc so hopefully I’ve not missed anything.

Having been on holiday for a lot of July I’ll not lie, my inboxes have been pretty chaotic as I worked through the backlog, so if you think you should have heard from me and you haven’t then please give me a nudge and apologies to anyone who’s waited a long time as I caught up.

In general, you should receive replies within 3 days (maybe slightly slower over the weekend).

☀️Weather - It’s set to be a warm one, so I will keep small amounts of items in the box and top up regularly. Items that require it will have ice packs below them to keep cool. As it’s warmer some of the bakes may become a bit softer (eg choc and caramel) and need to be popped in the fridge to firm up! Or just enjoy the gooeyness! 😋 Tarts are best eaten on the day of purchase.

Happy July everyone! This month will be a wee bit quieter as I’m currently taking some time off, but once I’m back it will be all systems go again with the bake box, markets and more!

Here’s your round up of what to expect in July…

🛫 Holiday - I’m currently on holiday and am away from: Sunday 28 June - Thurs 16 July. The business will be fully closed when I’m away, so if you message you will get an out of office and I will respond on my return.

🧁 Markets - just the one market this month I’ll be at Uddingston Food Market on Sun 26 July

✨ Bake Box - we’ll be open again on Friday 17 July from 3pm so if you’ve been missing your weekly cake fix get the date in your diary! It’s World Cup final weekend, and there may be some Canadian treats too. Keep an eye on the page for menus and details of what’s in the box!

📮 Postal Boxes - there will be no monthly postal box in July or August. I find that due to holidays and the heat it’s best to take a break at this time. The next monthly box will be September. In the meantime if you want to order cake to be posted drop me a message and we can arrange something!

🗓️ Celebration cakes/custom orders - July/August are almost fully booked for celebration cakes, so if you’re looking for a date, get in touch sooner rather than later! (£20 confirms your date and details can be decided later!)

💌 Emails/messages - I will start working through these from 17 July when I’m back, but it might take a few days depending on how many there are. Priority will be given to finalising cake orders already in the diary, then I will work through everything in chronological order from oldest to newest. I appreciate your patience while I do this and will keep stories updated on progress.
