Happy Friday! It’s Bake Box time, and in what has become somewhat of a family tradition now, if it’s your birthday you get to pick the contents of the box that week!

This week it was the turn of my partner Matt, and I think he gets top marks for a menu with some classics, and for dipping into the archives and pulling out some things the box has never seen before like the Movie Munch slice which is packed with pretzels, popcorn and chocolate! I hope you like the menu, and if not, blame Matt! 😋

The bake box is open Fri/ Sat/Sun, so hopefully you make it along and get some bakes!

⛅️Weather - I think it could be different every day this weekend, so all usual advice applies! If it’s cold then some bakes will need to get to room temp for best taste/ to make sure they’re not too hard! And if it’s warmer some of the bakes may become a bit softer (eg choc and caramel) and need to be popped in the fridge to firm up! Or just enjoy the gooeyness! 😋

Happy Friday and happy bank holiday weekend for those lucky enough to have one! 😊 The last May holiday starts to really feel like summer is coming and we thought we’d mark it by bringing back Strawberry tarts for the season! 🍓These are usually super popular, so I’ve got enough ingredients to keep them stocked up all weekend!

If you’re not into tarts then fear not, there’s plenty of your other delicious items to choose from! There’s also a few extra items in the box not listed on the above menu - these are a couple of spare bits from custom orders going out this weekend. So you might be lucky and find a wee extra treat in there!

The May box is here and this month I’m giving you all the decision making power! Choose 6 delicious gluten free bakes of your choice (from 25+ options!) and they’ll be baked and packaged ready for delivery straight to your door. (Or you can collect if you’re close by!) Think of it like having your own personal baker!

They will be posted on Wed 20 May via Royal Mail 24 Hour Tracked. Collection is also available from Renfrew on Fri 22/Sat 23 May

Boxes are limited, orders close Tues 19 May at 9pm or sell out, whichever is first!

Hello lovely people! 😊

Here’s your round up of what to expect in May…

🧁 Markets - I’ve got 2 brilliant markets coming up this month - Stepps Food Marketon 9 May and Uddingston Food Market on 31 May. I’ll be keeping my fingers and toes crossed for good weather at both and hope to see you there!

✨ Bake Box - it’s business as usual every weekend this month! I’ve been working on some new bits which I’ll hopefully share over the next few weeks so keep your eyes peeled for the menu each week!

📮 Postal Boxes - May’s postal is going to be a build your own box - where you can choose which 6 bakes get delivered straight to your door! It will go live on the website on Sunday 10 May and be posted out on Weds 20 May via Royal Mail 24 hour tracked.

🗓️ Celebration cakes/custom orders - May and June are almost fully booked for celebration cakes and I’m away for part of July, so if you’re looking for a date, get in touch sooner rather than later! (£20 confirms your date and details can be decided later!)

Happy Bank Holiday weekend! 😊 The bake box is back and this weekend it’s a delicious mixed bag of a few classics you know and love and a few new things I’ve come up with this week… including a vegan choc/coconut slice (bounty style) a white choc hazelnut (the Bueno flavour!) slice, since you went mad for that in the cookies last week and a Lemon and Raspberry tart as a wee nod to the fact summer is just around the corner and fruit tart season is here!

Happy Sunny Friday! ☀️The bake box is back and this weekend it’s your requests that have filled the box! There’s a little bit of everything from classics like Empire Biscuits and mint slice, to some of your more recent favourites like deep dish cookies and coconut caramel slice!

🐣Free crème Eggs! - I also have about 20 crème eggs left from the Easter madness and to be honest, I’m totally over Easter bakes, so I’ve popped them out in the box as a freebie, so first few customers can have one as a wee extra treat!

Happy Friday! In case you missed it, just a reminder there’s no Bake Box menu today as the box is CLOSED this weekend, so please don’t come for a visit as there will be no cake! 🙁

Instead of baking I’ll be celebrating my aunties 60th birthday and 2 new arrivals to the family, so a bit of a quieter weekend for me! (But I’ve still been on cake duty so some things don’t change)😊

I’m driving a bit today, but will get caught up on messages over the next couple of days so if you’re waiting on a reply it will be this weekend.

Normal service will resume at the bake box next weekend and we’ll be back at Uddingston food market on Sunday 26 April!

Happy Friday! 🥳 This weekend it’s dessert week at the bake box. there’s some of your favourites like sticky toffee pudding, and some newbies like a fruit crumble pot and tiramisu cake for the coffee lovers among you!
