Happy Friday! It’s bake box time, and we’re fully stocked with cakes and bakes.

🍂This weekend I’ve decided it’s officially the start of cosy season, so with the darker nights and chilly weather we have bakes that are perfect for heating up and eating cuddled under a blanket on the sofa. And you can expect to see plenty more heat and eat style puddings as the winter creeps in!

I also have a ✨New✨ Caramel crispy and this one is gelatine/marshmallow free so is suitable for vegetarians and other dietary needs. It’s delicious!

🥶🌧️Weather - Unfortunatley I think there will be some rain this weekend; so please ensure the door is closed when you leave. Its also getting cold now, so bakes may be a wee bit hard/cold when in the box - they will taste best at room temp, so if you can be patient and let them warm up first!

Happy October! The end of the year is creeping up fast now, but before I even mention the C word let’s do Halloween and autumnal fun instead! There’s lots going on this month including a spooky postal box, markets, bake box and all the usual things that keep me busy and baking!

Here’s your round up of what to expect in October…

🧁 Markets - I’ll be at the brilliant Uddingston Food market on Sun 1 November (note it’s a week later this month)

✨ Bake Box - we’re open every weekend except the 23-25 Oct. There will be a Halloween Special on 30/31 Oct. 👻Keep an eye on the page for menus and details of what’s in the box each week!

📮 Postal Boxes - The October box will be a spooky special. It launches on Sun 11 Oct at 10am and will be posted on Wed 28 Oct in time for Halloween. 🎃

🗓️ Celebration cakes/custom orders - The year is filling up fast and Oct and Nov is almost fully booked for celebration cakes, so if you’re looking for a date, get in touch sooner rather than later! (£20 confirms your date and details can be decided later!)

💌 Emails/messages - up to date as of this evening, and I’ll be back on messages again tomorrow.

🚚✨ Postals are on their way! Thank you so much to everyone who ordered a build your own box this month!

It’s always fun to see what you pick when given the all the power. highlights from boxes packed today include the one that just chose every option with caramel and the one filled with 6 cookie sandwiches! I love that you all have different favourites and I hope you love your boxes! 😊

Tracking numbers have been sent out by email tonight, so you’ll be able keep an eye on your cakes and they’ll ~hopefully~ be with you tomorrow!

On Saturday, I had a brilliant evening celebrating the Ruby wedding anniversary of Matt’s Aunty and Uncle. 40 years of marriage is an incredible achievement and it was lovely to be in a room so full of love, and the celebratory drinks were definitely flowing! 🥂

I had the honour of making a cake for the occasion and it was a little(!) red and gold number! The original wedding cake was pink and frilly (very on brand for the 80s!) but we decided not to replicate it on this occasion!

Happy Anniversary to Paul and Charlotte - here’s to many more happy years together! 💕

Happy September! This month is a busy one and sees the return of our monthly postal boxes (launching tomorrow!), weekends at the bake box, and a trip to Uddingston Market among all our usual birthday cakes, wholesale and other shenanigans!

Here’s your round up of what to expect in September…

🧁 Markets - I’ll be at the fabulous Uddingston Food Market on Sun 27 September.

📮 Postal Boxes - they’re back! 🎉 after a couple of months postals are back and starting with a build your own box so you can choose your favourites, or maybe try something new! These will be available to order from tomorrow at 7pm and will be posted on Wed 23 Sep.
