It fills my heart with such joy and gratitude when clients get in touch with compliments and kind words, sharing their delight from cakes they have ordered with me.
Especially the ones that are new to me for they had to trust me. Not any less thankful to the clients who are ordering year after year and who have supported my cake business with their loyalty.
I on the other hand promise you that each and every cake is freshly prepared, to high standards and with attention to detail.
I consider myself an artisan baker and can only bake one cake at a time.
There are no conveyor mass production, shortcuts, unpronounceable ingredients, absolutely no freezing (unless the recipe requires it), no ready mixes of any sort.
When the recipe calls for cream I use fresh cream, not the long shelf chemically altered cream like product, which trust me is much more convenient to use BUT it is not nice to eat.
This beautiful Pavlova started with fresh eggs I separated and in fact, this was Pavlova 2 because the first one was far from perfect.
I am off to the kitchen to start on two cakes, one Lemon and one Chocolate, both layer cakes that will be delicious and lovely to enjoy.
Quality is what I am so very glad I am known for.
