It's been a while.
I've never been good at social media. If there is such thing as a "posting-on-social-media-phobia" then, I have it!
On top of that, last year, after a rough pregnancy and unexpected illness, I had to take a big step back.

With glitter cakes being the latest trend, I hoped it wouldn't be long before I got asked to make one, but this cake really tested my "improvise, adapt, overcome" skills. I didn't expect to be blowing spoonfuls of glitter off a teaspoon with a portable fan at 4am, and 2 days later I am still finding navy blue glitter everywhere, including my eyebrow 😅

Was she worth it? Absolutely 😍
Will future glitter cakes include a 48hr glitter clean up fee? It's possible 😂

Would you believe me if I told you my 2023 "New Years resolution" was to actually post the pictures of the cakes I make, instead of expecting people to see them telepathically?
Nope? Me either! It's now August and I've somehow managed to forget to post a single one.
So, to start this month off right, here is a photo of my most recent bake which were these jazz themed cupcakes in celebration of a special 70th birthday! 🎷

Run, don't walk, to her page if you love home fragrances. She sells the most beautiful carpet and car fresheners (my personal recommendations are the velvet rose, fig milk, and calpol scents 😍) she's got some very generous offers on too!
