Ahoy me Hearties.. 🫑

I can't wait any longer to show you the second cake from last week...🫒

For a great friend who we celebrated his 43rd Birthday....a fab day and evening πŸ™Œ

This is a milk chocolate two layer rectangle cake...theme was Ma*****na with a 'cigarette' πŸ˜‰... an idea given to me and I took the reins...

Using acetate sheets, I made the white chocolate 'ci******es' then filled it with chopped chocolate and green colouring..the ashtray was made using my cupcake mould cut down to a size and then handpainted a leaf in colours of red, yellow and green, with holes then cut to hold the 'ci******es'. Using the chopped chocolate I then placed some on cling film, and some on a half made cigarette. The Log effect was used using an impression mat where the chocolate was set then pealed away...

This cake tested every skill I have learnt over the years...to say I'm happy is an understatement...

Gooood Morning and Happy Monday Me Hearties! 🫑

How are You? What you been up to? πŸ₯°

Well, half term is over and the mini pirates are back at pirate school today πŸŽ‰ although I'll miss them I'm sure they are so pleased to be going back 🫒 its been a fab week with them πŸ’–

We celebrated a birthday for a special little girl who is now 4...and she loved her cake....a Dairy Free 'Chocolate' 3 layer cake with a theme of Banger Racing and Unicorns...I'm so happy how it came out πŸ₯° the cars were numbered up to 4 and included the year she was born...decorated with her favourite colour pink, handpiped name and of course the Happy Birthday plaque πŸŽ‰

Today...its getting the house back in to order, food shop and then get the mini pirates ready for Beavers...

Sorry I've not been around...I will be visiting your pages this week and speading some chocolate love to You all...last week was crazy with the cake orders, the heat and of course trying to be Mum πŸ˜‚ I do as always appreciate you πŸ’–

My weekend was alright...I worked! πŸ« πŸ˜πŸ˜‚

πŸͺ baked Choc Chip Cookies
🍫 Attempted some chocolate bons but tooo hot to temper
πŸŽ‚ baked the first cake

Today...I'm back in there to decorate said cake πŸŽ‚ praying to the Cake God's, chocolate Gods and my guardian angels to stop it all from melting πŸ€žπŸ™πŸ˜‚

On this note...the music is on....coffee has been drunk...kitchen is calling.....but please remember if your going out...drink the water...slap the suncream on....be safe out there πŸŒžβ›±οΈ

I wanted to show one of the orders for a special lady who's birthday it was a couple of weeks ago....Gluten Free Salted Caramel Sunflowers and Rubabrb and Custard Bons....had some great feedback which will help, the lady was very happy with them and absolutely loved them πŸ«πŸ’ƒπŸΌπŸŽ‰πŸ’–

As the next two weeks are going to be crazy...with two cake orders, two birthday orders and half term approaching...I'm currently working πŸ™Œ today I'm creating free from Dairy cake chocolate toppers...

This is the first of the cakes and it is somewhat a different style for a special soon to be 4 year old girl...let's hope I can pull this one off πŸ€žπŸ˜†

I won't be around tomora...I will try and visit you when I can...so I hope your week is an amazing one...remember your Strong, keep going and enjoy every moment...hug those closest to you a little more...Happy New week Crew! πŸ€ͺ
