Cakes in this weather always a challenge, but loved this cake for a lovely lady's 40th. Chocolate sponge filled with lush choc ganache. covered with fondant icing for support and decorated with white choc buttercream on top and sides.

AND I know it about 100 degrees but I popped one in the microwave for 10 sec and it was so lush. 😁 With ice cream OMG is all I will say .....

A good morning at Beacon Hall today. Lots of people browsing. I will do more scones and Whirls next time :). Lovely to see you all and have a chat.

As some of you are aware my mum is in hospital at the mo. All cakes and bakes are still being done so all orders will be finished. Baking is good therapy for stress lol. Nothing like mixing up batch of brownies and cake to fill the kitchen with comfort smells .
