A baking couple of days with a friend, great to get the kit fired up again!
42hr long fermented rustic baguettes made with , trays of cheese/onion and cherry tomato/olive topped focaccias, ciabattas & many cardamom and ras el hanout yeasted buns!

What a lovely surprise farmers market was today. Fabulous quality sourdough loaf & rollitos de manzana and croissant de almendras from the talented , the former eaten with these bad boy clams steamed in Chilean wine (of course). Empanadas from are tomorrow’s lunch. I’m struggling to find decent strong flour to bake with while here, so thank both for advice 🙏. I’m in a small Chilean Lake District town and what made me smile the most….both follow and . 👏👏 both, your reach is truly wide 😁

Well, what a fabulous effort by everyone yesterday! Great to see so many people out, old friends and customers, and new 😁

We’re delighted to have raised £416 from bread sales, including a few card payments from cake & raffle purchases. To be split equally on www.gofundme.com for , and .

The total raised was over £1,500. Well done Amk fitness and 👏👏, and thanks all for welcoming Charnwood Bakehouse to the event ❤️

Please come and see us as we support the Quorn Flood Fundraiser this Saturday outside in Quorn from 11am, alongside the amk fitness Bootcamp folk and other local people contributing to the bake sale.

Every penny from our bread sales will be put towards the www.gofundme.com pages of The Royal Oak, The White Horse and The Monk (Take a look at the site, it’s incredibly heart warming to see how our community is contributing).

Hello Charnwood 👋

We just wanted to remind you that the ovens are now off & we’re closed for a few weeks.

We will be back so keep an eye on our social feeds, we’ll update you as soon as we know! We will of course be in the same lovely Quorn spot (with continued thanks to for your ongoing support) BUT with a different production & sales schedule.

- Black olive ciabatta
- Rosemary, olive oil, sea salt focaccia (the ‘Classic’)
- Sweet potato, roast garlic oil, parmesan - today’s special

Sweet:
- Iced cinnamon swirls
- Apple & cinnamon bread & butter slice (commonly known as chunks!)
- Brownies - double choc/salted caramel
- Raspberry & lemon oat slice
- Almond chocolate mocha bun
