So it’s the post I wish I never had to write but the time has come to close the doors permanently on Whipped & Piped.

It’s been a huge decision to make and it’s one that I haven’t taken lightly. I’m currently coming to the end of my Maternity Leave and I’ve spent a long time going over the numbers and I just can’t sustain my little business going into 2023.

Rising costs of ingredients and the ever rising costs of utilities has meant that I can no longer afford to reopen the doors.

Things like butter have had a 100% price increase which is nuts and I’m not willing to increase my prices in such a dramatic way.

I start my new job this month I’m super excited to get stuck in to my new role.

I want to thank each and every one of my awesome customers for making Whipped & Piped such a success. Every order placed meant the world to me and I loved making each one of them.

Hey lovelies 👋🏻

Wow it’s been a lifetime since I last posted and it feels so strange!

So, my beautiful baby girl arrived 2 months ago and is doing absolutely brilliantly.

I have the urge to make some cakes as I’m missing it so much, so I wanted to gauge if anyone of my wonderful followers would be interested in a raffle for a tray of 12 cupcakes?
Each ticket will be £1 and there will be 25 up for grabs.

Each ticket will need to be purchased via PayPal and as soon as all the tickets have been sold I will complete the draw.

Cupcakes will be Vanilla or Chocolate and will be decorated with buttercream in the colours of your choice (no alternatives available)

Winners must be able to collect from Quedgeley on date agreed between both parties.

Huge THANK YOU to Jenni Hinton for dropping these gorgeous flowers on my doorstep yesterday.

I was on a mission to find out who left them for me and it was a lovely surprise to find out it was from one of my awesome customers.

You have no idea just how much this kind gesture made my day yesterday…. Thank you so much.

Hey everyone 👋🏻

It’s with a heavy heart that I have taken the decision to close Whipped & Piped until further notice.

Not to bore you all with unnecessary details, but I am having some pregnancy related complications that mean I am unable to commit to dates for customers, so as of Monday 7th March I am starting my maternity leave early.

I plan to be off for the rest of the year as a minimum so I can enjoy every step of babies first year. I will be in contact with ALL customers who I have in my diary and I apologise in advance for having to cancel your order. All refunds will be made within 24hrs via Bank Transfer and I will send confirmation of the payment being processed directly to you.

The Whipped & Piped inboxes on Instagram, Facebook and Email contact will have an auto response placed on from Monday. These inboxes will not be monitored until I return from maternity leave.

I have not made this decision lightly and I hope you all understand why I have had to do so. The health of me and Baby Verso is my absolute priority 🤍

Thank you to everyone who has supported me and placed orders since I opened last year, it has meant the absolute world to me.

💕💕F A V O U R I T E C R E A T I O N O F 2 0 2 1 💕💕

I think this has got to be my absolute favourite cake of 2021.

I really enjoyed making it and seeing it come to life 💗💗

I think the reaction of my lovely customer when I dropped it off to her was the icing on the cake for me. She made me well up that’s for sure and I was fighting back the tears from rolling down my face until I got back in the car. It’s these moments that make this job so worthwhile.

I will be streamlining what style cakes I offer going forward and will focus on where my passion lies and the styles I love to create. More details to follow in the coming weeks …

🤍🤍 R E - O P E N I N G 🤍🤍

Happy New Year to you all!

Hope you all had a lovely Christmas and New Year. I can’t believe is January 2022 already …. Where does the time go?!

So I will be re-opening the Whipped & Piped Kitchen as of 16th January. Thank you to everyone who has already messaged in anticipation to us opening back up, you are all wonderful 🤍🤍

I will be running things slightly differently this year as I learned a lot from my first year in business. More details will be posted nearer to the 16th. There will be a slight increase in prices and I will be working from a set price list to streamline the sheer amount of admin and messages I deal with each day.

I will also be taking Maternity leave towards the end of May and throughout June and July. These dates are not set as I’m sure you all understand.

So I will be in touch with everyone who has sent through enquiries for this year in the next week or so.

I’m excited to get my Whipped & Piped apron back on 👩🏻‍🍳

Hi everyone. I’ve been extremely quiet on the social media front the past couple of weeks so apologies for that. It’s been a very busy month for me and I have wiped myself out that much that posting on social media has had to take a back foot.

So I am now closing my order book until January 2022. This also includes Halloween & Christmas. I know lots of you have slots reserved for both and were waiting for the ranges to land to confirm your order, but unfortunately I am not going to be able to confirm these orders now.

Any customer who has fully booked their order with me and has confirmation that their order is in my order book these will still be completed so please do not worry. If you are concerned about your order, please contact me and I will be able to confirm your order is in my diary.

Anyone who has paid deposits for orders for the remainder of the year, again please do not worry these are safe.

I’d like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported me and Whipped & Piped since we started. I couldn’t of made my business the success it has been with out you all.

Thanks to everyone who has placed orders with me for October, I really do appreciate it and I am truly grateful for each and every one of them.

Please do not panic …… Halloween orders have been blocked out so as soon as I release my range, you will still be able to order for them.
The Halloween range will be dropping next week at some point, so keep your eyes peeled for some Gruesome Treats coming your way 🎃👻💀
I have been delayed in launching my range as I have not had a single free day for weeks (not complaining I promise) So I have blocked out some hours next week to put it all together for you to see 👀👀

🤍🤍W E D D I N G C A K E P O P S🤍🤍

I thought I’d post these sweet little cake pops I did for a wedding a while ago, these were part of a larger order of cake pops. I thought it was a fitting post as I have been busy with a Wedding Cake this week that I will be delivering and setting up at the venue tomorrow.

In true Anwen style I have taken on waaaaaaayyyyy too many orders this week, even though I had booked out most of the week for the Wedding Cake. Late nights and seriously early mornings has meant that I’ve made it through without too many hiccups along the way!

The 5 bowls of white ganache seriously tested my patience….. that stuff is honestly the stickiest, most messiest stuff I deal with without a doubt. Nearly 5kg of white chocolate has been used this week on different orders. It’s crazy!!

One more late night and early morning to go……..

I can’t wait to see the wedding cake set up at the venue tomorrow…….

💗💗P R E T T Y & P I N K💗💗

Morning everyone 🥰

I thought for my first post in what feels like forever I’d post a recent cake that I did for a beaut of a customer of mine!

This cake was such fun to decorate, and the doughnuts were a particular favourite 🍩🍩 they were dipped in a really pretty marbled white chocolate. Whilst they were setting in the fridge I really had to hold myself back from nomming them all before putting them on the cake 😋😋

This week has started with a bang and is about to ramp up today with orders and prep for the rest of the week.

Don’t judge me but I am way too excited to use my new set of cake pans today. I thought it about time to invest in some high quality pans that should last me a long time. This baker is going to have a parrrrrrty in the kitchen today 🥳🥳🥳
