I had taken a break from baking for a while as life and health had to come first and after running the business for over 13 years, surviving the Covid pandemic and the continued increase in costs of absolutely everything, I lost my baking mojo. Now though after baking for pleasure, it’s back and my obsession with cookies is ridiculous🙈Introducing one of many new cookies…the Deep Dish Cookie filled with milk chocolate ganache…weighing in at over 150g each, they’re huge!🍪😍😋

🎄4 months today is Christmas Day and that means many of you will be tucking into your Kalimera Cakes cheesecake, as they’re as much a tradition as the turkey is for a lot of my lovely customers. Christmas week is fully booked (it has been for over 6 months) but as usual I will start delivering from October so you can store your Christmas cheesecake in the freezer. I have a handful of slots available for late November/early December, so if you don’t want to miss out, get your order in as soon as possible. Once they’re gone, they’re gone. I’m keeping the prices the same as the past couple of years, so £17-£20 for a large (serves 12-16) and £12-£15 for a small (serves 6-8) A £5 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking🎅🏻

🍯 I absolutely loved creating this baby shower cake at the weekend with a cute Winnie The Pooh theme. The cake was a triple layer Victoria sponge sandwiched with vanilla buttercream and oodles of raspberry jam, covered in white chocolate ganache and finished with edible decorations including sugar paste bumble bees, a honeycomb and Winnie The Pooh himself. I have a feeling she is one loved little girl already🩷

Who doesn’t love dinosaurs…not little Charlie who had his 2nd birthday party yesterday. His reaction to the cake made my day😊This was a Victoria sponge sandwiched with vanilla ice-cream buttercream, oodles of jam and covered in fudgy white chocolate ganache. Then came the dinosaurs…big one and baby ones according to Charlie, with his favourite T-Rex taking pride of place🦖Happy Birthday Charlie and thank you for the kisses and cuddles😊

This is the last big push now for cheesecakes, Christmas cakes & our new Christmas Pudding Biscuit Cake, which is an amazing alternative dessert for Christmas Day.
