Prudhoe’s Music by the Riverside

10/10/2026

📣 ANNOUNCEMENT 📣

If you were at this year’s event, you may have heard that Music by the Riverside founder Caroline Warburton is taking a step back from the event after an amazing 5 years at the helm 🌟

Fear not, Stephen Short and Paul Murray will be taking the reins to ensure Prudhoe continues to play host to this fantastic free music festival at our glorious riverside amphitheatre. Plans are already underway for next year, so watch this space for more info 🎉

We would like to take this opportunity to once again thank Caroline for her hard work on the event over the last 5 years, and we hope you enjoy a more relaxed 2027! 👏

We love seeing so many people embrace the spirit of Music by the Riverside 😍

Whether it’s the kids with endless energy, groups of friends dancing the night away or just chilling on the banks of the amphitheatre, we feel honoured that you choose to spend your time with us 🫶

Once again, a big thanks to Moira Wooldridge for capturing these fantastic shots on the day 🤩

Music by the Riverside is all about embracing community and we’ve got some great community music groups in Prudhoe, captured here by Moira Wooldridge at the big event 3 weeks ago 🤩

Just like that, the dust settles on another Music by the Riverside!

What a day we had 🤩 The sun shone, the rain poured, and the sun shone again ☀️
Most importantly, you came out in force and enjoyed some great music, tasty food & drinks and danced until the last note was played 🕺💃

Big thanks to all our supporters and the team of volunteers who make this event possible 🙏
A special thanks to Caroline Warburton who is now stepping down as chair of the organising group after 5 amazing years of Music by the Riverside 👏👏👏

As always, we’ll have loads of photos and videos to share in the coming weeks, but here are some highlights courtesy of Moira Wooldridge 📸
