With the show season starting, join us for a friendly, relaxed introduction to the world of showing — perfect for complete beginners and those who fancy a refresher before the ring beckons!

We'll be covering everything you need to know to feel confident and prepared this season, with real examples, plenty of tips and lots of time for questions.

We'll be covering:
✅ What classes should I enter - how to find the right one for you and your horse
✅ What to wear — from your boots to your stock
✅ How to turn out your horse and yourself to the very best standard
✅ What to expect in the arena so there are no surprises on the day
✅ How to put together a simple, flowing individual show
✅ How to stand your horse up to catch the judge's eye
✅ How to trot up correctly and confidently

All delivered with real examples, a relaxed atmosphere and a few stories from the ringside along the way! 🐴

Whether you've never set foot in a show ring or just want to feel more confident this season — come along, bring your questions and let's have some fun with it.

Your host for the evening is Tanya Guy , who brings 30 years of experience in both teaching and showing. Tanya's passion for the sport is infectious — and above all, she believes that showing should be enjoyable for horse and rider alike. Tanya's aim is simple — to make sure everyone falls a little bit more in love with showing! 🏵️🐴
