🍞 WE'RE HIRING!🍞

We're on the lookout for a Bakery Assistant to join our little team at Happy Belly Bakery in Princetown!

We're a small, independent sourdough bakery, and we're looking for someone who's happy to roll up their sleeves, get stuck in and help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.

The role will involve helping with our daily bakes, weighing out ingredients, preparing dough, packing orders and keeping the bakery clean, tidy and organised.

A little about the role:

🥐 16 hours per week, paid at the applicable National Minimum Wage.

🍞 Normal working days will be Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, although these may occasionally change.

🥖 Early starts are part of bakery life! You'll need to be comfortable with early mornings and getting stuck in while most people are still tucked up in bed.

🍪 Some flexibility would be brilliant, particularly to help cover staff holidays or sickness.

Who are we looking for?

Someone who's reliable, organised, has a good eye for detail and enjoys being part of a small, friendly team. You'll need to be happy working on your feet, getting your hands floury and keeping up with the pace of a busy bakery.

Previous experience in a bakery or catering environment would be great, but it's certainly not essential. We're much more interested in finding someone with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a genuine enthusiasm for what we do.
