We just want to take a moment to say something openly and honestly.

We fully understand that we won’t be everyone’s first choice and that’s absolutely okay. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, and we respect that completely. We also respect everyone’s right to express themselves.

However, there’s a difference between sharing an opinion and spreading negativity.

We’re always open to constructive feedback, if there’s something we can improve, we genuinely want to hear it. The best way to do that is by messaging us directly so we can have a proper conversation and learn from it.

What we won’t tolerate on this page is:

* Remarks that offer no constructive value

Comments like that don’t help anyone, and they will be removed.

We’re simply here trying to run our business, focus on what we do, and serve our community. We don’t compare ourselves to others, and we’re not interested in competing or putting anyone else down that’s not who we are.

We know the world isn’t always positive, but there’s already enough negativity out there. If something isn’t helpful or constructive, it doesn’t move anyone forward.

Back in 2025, a friend of mine showed me an article about the National Pie Awards, where a bakery up in Scotland had taken the top prize with a red doner meat kebab pie. Up until then, it was something we’d never even considered, but seeing it win got us thinking… so we decided to have a go ourselves. After a bit of trial and error, our spicy doner kebab pie was born and it didn’t take long for it to take off! In less than a year, it’s already worked its way into our top five bestsellers, and honestly, we can’t see it ever leaving the menu now. If you’ve not tried one yet, what are you waiting for? A pie filled with chilli-marinaded kebab meat created by Bathgate-based Boghall Butchers is named Supreme Champion at the annual event held in Melton Mowbray
