Hello you lovely cake lovers 😊
Sorry, a very long post here🙈🪄
I realise my last few posts may have had some of you hoping i was soon to return to cake making...
I couldn't not share the exciting news that one of my cakes had been featured in magazine!
However...
My planned return in 2023 is not to be
For a few reasons...
With the cost of utilities, ingredients, supplies and fuel all on the increase it's going to be impossible for me to continue without drastically increasing my prices, which I'm not comfortable doing when a lot of us are having to watch the pennies.
But the main reason is...I'm just not ready.
Before Christmas I tried working my cake making around caring for our little one and it's just too difficult right now.
So for now, I'm closing the doors on my little garden cake studio and concentrating on raising a future baking star...or rock star if she's going to take after her Dad!
I'm not saying I'll never return, I just won't be back any time in the foreseeable future. Think of this less of a goodbye and more of a (in the words of Tigger) TTFN
I just want to say an absolutely huge thank you to all of you who have supported my business through the years. It has meant so much to me being a part of your special occasions and finally putting my fine art degree to some use 🤣
It will be strange not to disappear into my studio until the wee hours but I have other, bigger responsibilities now ❤️👶
