We are a toddler group run by St Andrew’s Church, and love to welcome pre-school children and their parents or carers! We meet every Friday morning 9.45–11.15am during term time in St Andrew's Church Hall. £1 entry per family. During each session there is tea, coffee and cake for parents/carers and a snack time for the children where we serve juice or water and a snack. There is a craft activity o
n offer each week as well as a story time for the slightly older children which will include a Bible story. We aim to finish each session with a song time including nursery rhymes and Christian songs. The morning will run as follows:
9.45 Start
10.15 Snack time
10.55 Story time
11.05 Song time - we love everyone to join in with this and finish the session together as it’s good for babies and children and helps whoever is leading.
11.15 End
At the end of each term we will have a little celebration through in the church for Christmas, Easter and a farewell for children moving on to school and preschool in the summer term. We hope these will be special times for you and your children. If possible please could you park your pushchair down the corridor before you come into the hall. There are toilet facilities and baby changing facilities through the other end of the hall. We want you to be able to enjoy a brew while you are with us but please take care not to leave hot drinks within reach of children or to wander around the room with them. We need to stress that your child is your responsibility during the session so please ensure that they are playing safely and not disruptively. We can only admit a maximum of 2 children per adult. If you need anything please ask – we have a number of leaders who wear Noah’s Ark badges.
