I write this with a heavy heart...

I have decided, for the time being at least, to stop baking. This is for many reasons and it's taken a lot of thought to come to the decision. I'll keep this page up as it's actually become my archive for all bakes over the last few years, I don't think I have all these pictures anywhere else. I will upload the odd thing here and there, family cakes etc.

I'd like to thank every one of you for all your weird and wonderful cake requests, your lovely comments and support. I can honestly say that it's been a rollercoaster of emotions! To quote my husband once; "Are you going to kill yourself over cake?". 😂 I quite possibly would have.

I was asked to make Miss Haversham's wedding cake for the Dicken's festival of Christmas at the dockyard. This was displayed on-board HMS Warrior on the wedding feast table in the 'Great Expectations' themed area over the weekend.
