It's always humbling to be trusted to make a cake for an important life event- none more noteworthy than getting married. That responsibility comes with a level of stress that usually keeps me awake in the nights leading up to it.
However, delivered and set up this monster yesterday- bottom tier, vanilla and raspberry sponge layered with raspberry goo and white chocolate ganache, the middle tier, rich chocolate cake layered with hazelnut cream and the top tier, lemon sponge with homemade lemon curd.
To give some idea of size, the top tier was the size of my usual celebration cake! Needed my husband to help transport and set it up.
Hope the day was simply fantastic- many congratulations to the newly weds.
