🍎✨School Re-opens Tomorrow ✨🍎

We hope all of our families have had a wonderful summer break! ☀️💛

We are really looking forward to welcoming everyone back and starting another exciting school year together! 🎒📚

📅 Years 1–6 return on Tuesday 1st September

🏫 School gates will be open from 8:30am–8:45am.
Please ensure children arrive during this time ready for a prompt start to the school day.

🐿️ EYFS / Year R
Our new EYFS children will begin joining us from Wednesday 2nd September as part of their phased start.

Parents and carers should follow the individual dates and timings provided in their EYFS Welcome Pack and class information.

We can't wait to see everyone again and welcome our new families to Springwood! 💚 See you soon! 👋✨

Today we said goodbye to Mrs Barnes who has been so much more than a teacher. For the past 14 years, she has inspired, encouraged and supported so many children at Springwood.

Thank you Mrs Barnes for the memories and the love you have given us all. You will so be missed. Now go and enjoy your next chapter.

👕 Non-Uniform Day
Children are invited to come to school in non-uniform in exchange for a bottle donation for the FOSS Summer Fair.

📄 End of Year Reports
End of Year Report will be emailed to parents and carers at 4:30pm tomorrow.
A copy of the report will also be available to view on your child's Arbor account under the Reports section, where it will remain available for you to access at any time.

🌞 Summer Holiday Health Clinics 🌞

The Havant Community Public Health Nursing Team are offering free health support for children and young people throughout the summer holidays.

Clinics are available at:
📍 Leigh Park Library
📍 Hayling Island Community Centre
📍 The Acorn Centre, Waterlooville

If you have any questions or concerns about your child's health, these 40-minute appointments are a great opportunity to speak with a member of the team.

📲 To book an appointment, simply scan the QR code on the attached poster, which will send your request directly to the nursing team.

Gemma, is taking on the incredible challenge of abseiling 100 metres down the Spinnaker Tower to raise funds for the preschool! 🧗‍♀️

School remains open today.

Due to the Red Weather Warning, parents/carers may collect their child from 1:15pm if they wish.

Please ensure children come to school with:
💧 A water bottle
🧢 A sun hat
🧴 Sun cream already applied

Unfortunately, the Year 2 Transition Event has been cancelled due to the weather. We will let families know if it can be rescheduled.
