This is the most asked question at my market 🤭

Are macarons gluten free ?

YES ! They are gluten free by nature as they use almond flour rather than flour.

HOWEVER not all macarons are gluten free, check the packaging of the big brands, they contain wheat 😱 it is all for a cost issue … considering almond powder is at least 10 times more expensive than flour !!
