Every year (minus one) I always ask my nephew what cake he wants for his birthday.

This one, from 2022, tested my skills and patience. I'll be the first to admit, I dislike working with fondant, but I'd do anything for that boy, so Mandalorian Helmet it was.

Donated to Portsdown Archery Club as a raffle prize for the Open Western Competition.

Fun fact: Archery was the first Olympic sport that allowed women to compete, back in 1904.

Today is Nanny June Day, so of course, we have to celebrate with a little cake... Emphasis on the little.

6 inch vanilla sponge, cut in half, covered in a vanilla bean buttercream.

Turns out, semi circles are more awkward to decorate than I thought, and my original idea didn't look right on a small cake, so we've ended up with a reverse ombre too!
