I've always baked - from a very young age my mum taught me to make cakes, pastry and all things sweet. Over the years I've always found a reason to make cakes and everyone close to me is used to receiving a treat of some description on a regular basis. My ambition has always been to make every item in a cake recipe book - I'm yet to achieve this but I'm still trying...! Chrissie's Cakes and Bakes

started about six years ago when, with some encouragement from family and friends, I decided to start a my own little cake business. I've been fortunate to expand my customer base through word of mouth and find it so pleasing when my cakes make people happy! Recently I've introduced "Afternoon Tea at Home" and have accumulated plenty of traditional bone china to help create an enjoyable treat for anyone who wishes to enjoy it in the comfort of their own surroundings. Please let me know if you'd like to order a cake, a bake or afternoon tea - "cakes for all occasions' is my motto and it seems there is always an excuse for cake!
