🥩 WE’RE HIRING – BUTCHER PREP / COUNTER ASSISTANT 🥩
📅 5-day working week ; includes Saturdays/ No Sundays
⏰ Approximately 40 hours per week
💼 Full-time & permanent position
🔪 What will you be doing?
You’ll play an important role in keeping our butcher counter running smoothly, including:
🥩 Packaging & Pricing – Weigh, wrap, label and price fresh meat for display.
🧼 Hygiene & Food Safety – Keep work areas, equipment, tools and cutting boards clean and sanitised to maintain the highest hygiene standards.
📦 Stock & Inventory – Loading & Unloading Deliveries, Rotate stock, check dates, restock the display counters and keep cold storage areas organised.
😊 Customer Service – Welcome customers, answer basic questions and provide a friendly, helpful service at the butcher counter when required.
⭐ What are we looking for?
Previous food-handling experience or a Hygiene Certificate is preferred, but not essential — full training can be provided to the right person.
