Huge thank you to everyone who bought from us today 😭 we sold out by 11:30 🤯 I know some people missed out and trust us, we’re just as gutted as you! It’s sooo hard to judge how much to take to any event never mind with it being so close to Christmas and the weather being awful this weekend!

We have been blown away by the messages of support we’ve had over the past week since we announced our closure but we can’t wait for the next chapter in our lives ❤️

We’ve also spoken to so many small businesses that are feeling the same as us, this year has been HARD for everyone and the small business owners are feeling it even more this year and it’s heartbreaking to hear! So if you can, please support your local small businesses and markets as these events mean so much to them, there’s nothing more disheartening than putting so much effort into an event and it not being worth it 😭

Thank you to everyone for the last 2 years it’s been fun but challenging!

We’re off to enjoy a relaxing Christmas and New Year 🥂

‼️ IMPORTANT PLEASE READ ‼️

This is a very difficult post, we’re still not even 100% sure how to word it, but we’ve made an extremely hard decision that we won’t be continuing the business into the new year.

There’s a lot of mixed emotions to this decision, we’re of course gutted to give up the business that we’ve worked hard for over two years to build. It’s basically been our baby 😂 but at the same time, we both know that we’re making the correct decision for us and our mental health going forward.

Running a small business right now is extremely challenging, costs for ingredients/supplies are constantly rising, bills adding up, and it’s a tough economy for everyone right now. But we both truly believe that we can leave with our heads held high after this experience, we punched above our weight in a very competitive sector and always put 110% in to make the best product that we could.

We’re going to miss getting out each weekend to markets and meeting you all, we’ve loved the experience and we appreciate the hard work that all the market organisers put into their events. We’ve also made friends with lots of other small business owners that helped us get through the tough weekends. Local markets are a great way for you to support small businesses, if you have one near you and you have the time to go out and support it please do 🙏🏻

We’re both thankful and apologetic to everyone who’s bought from us and supported us over the years, we’re truly grateful for your support and we hope that you can understand our decision.

Next week will be our last in operation, our final market with be Sunday 22nd at Uddingston Food Market. If you have the time to come down and see us off then you are more than welcome. If you can’t make it, the website is currently restocked for the last time too.

Thank you to anyone who has ordered from the website for Christmas, you’ve sold us out and we can’t thank you enough ❤️ your orders will still be shipped as planned this Friday.

Thank you to everyone, we’ve had the most amazing couple of years and we don’t regret it for a single second.

Wow, what an amazing weekend Arngask Farm put on 🫶🏻 our best EVER weekend!!

This week, including The Night Market UK on Thursday, we have sold over 1,000 cakes 😳 can’t thank everyone enough, honestly 🥹
