Light, nutty and properly indulgent - exactly the sort of bake we love bringing to the counter at PMB 👀

✈️🥐 TOUR OF EUROPE 🥐✈️ This June at PMB, we’re taking you on a little trip across Europe through the bakery counter… each week inspired by a different country and some of its most loved pastries, breads, desserts and savoury bakes. We’ll be starting in Austria with classics like Sachertorte, Topfen Cheesecake and Austrian Apple Strudel Croissants, before heading through France, Italy and Germany across the month. Expect plenty of buttery pastry, slow fermented breads, comforting savoury bakes and a few stories behind the classics too. No passport needed - just a love for good baking 👀

🥖 THIS WEEKEND'S SOURDOUGH SPECIAL 🥖Introducing our Austrian Hausbrot. A traditional farmhouse-style loaf with a beautifully rustic crust, soft open crumb and deep, developed flavour from a slow fermentation process. This is the kind of bread that doesn't need much dressing up. A generous spread of butter, a bowl of soup or a simple sandwich is all it takes. Handcrafted in our Bakehouse using time, skill and simple ingredients - just as proper bread should be.
