With a lot of new friends to the business I thought it was about time I introduced myself.  I’m Nicole the baker behind **Sugar Riot Bakehouse** 🤍

Based in Church Village (CF38), my love for baking started long before this became a business. As a little girl, you’d find me standing on a chair stirring fruit cakes on the hob with my mum, or helping make bread pudding, and cutting out traditional Welshcakes dusted in sugar with my beloved grandmother in the family farm kitchen. That’s where it all began — flour on the worktops, warm ovens, and recipes passed down with love.

Those early days shaped everything. The comfort. The nostalgia. The feeling that baking isn’t just food — it’s home.

Today, Sugar Riot Bakehouse is where tradition meets indulgence. I still bake with that same heart, but now I create bold, loaded treats — rich brownies, gooey caramel layers, nostalgic chocolate toppings, and flavours that make a statement.

Every bake is made from my home kitchen in Church Village with care, quality ingredients, and a genuine love for what I do.
